At The Trafford & Stockport College Group, our purpose is about, ‘Unlocking Potential, Fostering Success’. This means we offer every learner much more than just the opportunity to gain a qualification. We prepare our learners for successful progression to university-level education or employment through a student experience and programme that focuses on three core platforms: SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, and BEHAVIOURS.
We work with employers to equip learners with the attributes that are in demand in the workplace. Boosting core skills such as English, maths and digital. Our teaching body, recognised as GOOD by Ofsted, provides learners with a knowledge of their study programme to help them successfully achieve their qualification. Our extensive pastoral programme enables learners to recognise and develop the behaviours that are central to becoming active, responsible citizens.
We also now offer T Levels at Cheadle College, Stockport College, and Trafford College. T Levels are a new and innovate type of qualification with 80% of the course delivered in the classroom (gaining the skills that employers need) and the other 20% delivered via a meaningful industry placement.
