The University Centre based on our £23m campus is the town’s only Higher Education provider and benefits from dedicated tutors and small class sizes delivering a range of qualifications including HNCs, HNDs, Foundation and Undergraduate degrees as well as the new Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs).
We offer apprenticeship opportunities for both young people and adults and work with hundreds of employer partners across the Northwest who are looking for apprentices to help improve their productivity and your career prospects.
We offer Access to Higher Education courses, professional courses, apprenticeships and a range of leisure courses to support health and wellbeing, as well as a wealth of community and employability courses for adults to support confidence building and progression into the workplace.
