We connect learning with the world of work through careers education, employer partnerships, work experience, industry placements and meaningful employer engagement. Through this approach, learners develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to progress into employment, apprenticeships, higher education or further study.
At Trafford & Stockport College Group, careers education is embedded throughout the learner journey. We help learners understand their options, explore career opportunities and make informed decisions about their future.
Our approach includes:
Understand careers, industries and opportunities.
Meet employers and experience real workplaces.
Build technical, digital and employability skills.
Build professional networks and relationships with employers.
Make informed choices about education, training and employment.
Move confidently into further study, an apprenticeship or employment.
Our Careers Programme sets out the planned careers education, information, advice and guidance activities available to learners across the Group. It demonstrates how careers learning is embedded throughout the learner journey and supports progression into employment, apprenticeships, higher education and further study.
